Fort Point was built between 1853 and 1861 by the U.S. Army Engineers as part of a defense system of forts planned for the protection of San Francisco Bay — it never saw any action. But on Sunday afternoon, there was plenty of buzz as reenactment soldiers flooded the fort.
Studio Visits
A flight, a rental car, two ferry rides — those were the legs of the trip leading up to the main event at Roche Harbor in San Juan island. Niki and Kelsie's friends and family flooded in from all over for this wedding and I'm just thankful I got to be a part of it. From the seaside cabins to a mausoleum hidden away (and possibly haunted?) in the woods — the scene was already set for the most magical of weekends. Don't take my word for it though, you can see for yourself.
San Juan Islands Wedding
Kilts, cowboy hats, blankets + banjo music for warmth, plus a Janis Joplin first dance. All over the place in all the best ways.

SAN FRANCISCO CITY HALL
San Francisco City Hall Ceremony
Before their wedding ceremony in Italy, Rob and Liz had to make a quick pit-stop at city hall. I'm honored I got to tag along and capture my first ceremony at this historic (and breathtakingly gorgeous) location. Whew, let's do it all again!
